The organisers of The Women's Tour cycling race this May, SweetSpot, have announced that  Pro Vision Clothing are to be the official jersey and apparel supplier to the event.

The new five-day international stage race will take place in the East of England between the 7th and 11th May, attracting the world's top female cyclists to race against Britain's Olympic heroines.

Pro Vision, specialists in quality custom clothing for all aspects of cycling, will supply the race leader's jerseys, in addition to staff clothing, race numbers and official Women's Tour merchandise.

Steve Joughin, Director of Pro Vision and twice National Road Race Champion said: "I have always had a passion and a love for cycling. Supporting The Women's Tour is a huge honour for Pro Vision. In a male-dominated sport we think it's very important that we support this Women's Tour and really get behind it."

Commenting on the announcement, Guy Elliott from The Women's Tour said:

"We will work closely with Pro Vision to ensure the jerseys promote the associated brands and sponsors in the best possible light, to spectators at the roadside and viewers of the television coverage around the world."

The Women's Tour will take place over five stages between Wednesday 7th and Sunday 11th May, beginning in Northamptonshire with an opening stage from Oundle to Northampton.

Leicestershire, Bedfordshire, Essex and Hertfordshire will all host subsequent stages in the UCI 2.1-rated event, before the final stage finish in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
