Chris Bloomer is an architect by day and a cyclist by… well, also by day. He loves maps, particularly the dotted lines and contours that inspire his adventures.
Although he has ridden in the Alps, Pyrenees and Dolomites, on the cobbles of northern France and Belgium, and throughout the UK - from Cape Wrath to the South Downs - he feels very lucky to live and ride in Northern Ireland, where there are many wonders to behold.
He generally avoids clubs but makes an exception for Audax Ireland, who are a similar bunch of sociable loners. He has completed Paris-Brest-Paris and the Míle Fáilte 1200.
